Serving Christ through Dentistry

Our Purpose on this earth goes far beyond our career. We are called to Love God, Love others, and make disciples of all nations. Dentistry provides a special opportunity to do all three of these commands. When someone sits in that chair, guard is down and trust is required, and that vulnerable, personal moment becomes an opportunity to share the hope I have in Christ. Few professions offer that kind of access and trust so quickly.

I've been blessed to serve on mission trips in Uganda, Guatemala, and Panama, as well as closer to home in the Mississippi Delta. In each place, the goal has been the same: meet a real physical need while pointing people to the Gospel. Relieving pain and restoring smiles opens the door - but the greater privilege has always been the conversations that follow.
